Return & Exchange Policy
This policy applies to returns and exchanges for our hair ties, barrettes, hair clips, and crowns via our Shopify store. For inquiries, use the contact info below.
1. Eligibility Requirements

- Quality Issues: Defects (e.g., broken barrette hinges, falling crown stones) require clear photos/videos for verification.
- Wrong Items: Provide Shopify order screenshots to confirm incorrect styles (e.g., kids’ vs. adult crowns) or colors.
2. Process Steps
- Request: Email dross-famines.4h@icloud.com with your Shopify order number, item type, reason for return/exchange, and supporting proof (photos/videos).
- Approval: We respond within 2 business days. Approved requests receive a return address (our Berwick hub: 7 Glasshouse Court, Berwick, VIC, 3806, Australia, or partner warehouse) and a unique return ID (must be marked on the package).
- Ship Back: Send items within 7 days. Wrap delicate crowns/clips in soft tissue + bubble wrap; use original or padded packaging to avoid damage.
- Finalization: We inspect returns in 3-5 days. Eligible exchanges ship within 48 hours; refunds process via Shopify Payments in 3-5 business days.
3. Fee Details
- Quality/Wrong Items: We cover round-trip shipping (reimburse up to AU$25 / US$17 via logistics receipt).
- Personal Reasons: You pay return shipping + a 7% restocking fee (higher for crowns due to decorative detail inspection).
- Ineligible Items: Used hair ties, damaged crowns, missing packaging, or custom-engraved accessories are refused—you bear return shipping costs.
